The process of getting lash extensions usually can take a couple of hours, but they will last 3-4 weeks depending on what the client is doing.
How Long Do Lash Extensions Last?
Lash extensions do last about 3 to 4 weeks, but this is dependent on a few things. Lashes need to be kept dry for the first 24 hours and any water or steam could loosen the glue and cause them to not adhere properly. If the client is in water often, or not covering the lashes when they are in water then this will have the same effect.

A lash extension appointment will begin by discussing the desired length, curl, and overall fill of the lashes. Then, each lash will be glued down individually to the lash line using a special glue. This is where the bulk of the appointment time comes in, as it can take a couple of hours to do this. Then you will sit so your lashes can dry for about 1 to 2 minutes and then we make sure that the lashes are comfortable and overall balanced correctly. Any aftercare instructions will be given, then that’s it! You have a new set of full lashes!
